Eric Perry
Eric J. Perry has carved an illustrious path in both private and public sector HR leadership. Beginning his journey as a consultant at Harris Rand and Lusk, Perry excelled in executive searches, achieving a remarkable 100% placement rate for high-level positions. Progressing to the role of Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development at MTA Bridges and Tunnels, he oversaw services for diverse employee groups and provided strategic advice on workforce development and compliance. Simultaneously, Perry spearheaded a transformative project for the MTA’s corporate parent, streamlining administrative functions with cutting-edge technology. The implementation of PeopleSoft, an enterprise management system, significantly enhanced operational efficiency across the MTA’s extensive 66,000-strong workforce. Later, as the Director of Human Resources for the NYS Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery, Perry navigated legal compliance and workforce training in the aftermath of extreme weather events. Upon establishing EJP in 2019, Perry expanded his impact by assisting non-profit organizations in maintaining continuity and enhancing HR operations. Perry specializes in advisory services that lead to operational efficiency. His global experience includes advising media sales companies in Africa and Asia.
Eric Perry received a BS from Manhattan College and a master’s in public administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He brings a comprehensive, holistic approach to problem-solving.
